One game I used to love playing on the Commodore Amiga was The Chaos Engine. The Chaos Engine was developed in 1993 by The Bitmap Brothers and published by Renegade Software
The easy to pick up game play is what made this game so appealing. Every so often, I still play the Remastered version through Steam. I have never managed to get further than World 1, Level 4. It is still one of my favourite games along with Sim City 4 and Half Life 2.
I wondered if The Chaos Engine was ever released for the Commodore 64. The good news, there has been a game in active development since the start of the year.
The game has been developed by Marvin Hardy, so please look at his feed for latest developments. What the developer has created so far looks fantastic and it will be interesting to see how far this project goes.
