A used XBox 360 and controller can be picked up for less than £50. Used games are also cheap and can be picked up for as little as £1.99 + postage on marketplaces like Ebay and Vinted, but there is also your local charity shop where I have seen games for as little as only 99p.
Another advantage is that you physically own the game, so unlike modern games there are no massive downloads.
As this console ages further it will become more expensive, like we now see with the old 486 PC's from the early 90's and retro 8-bit home computers from the 80's.
